Snake River Basin
Lucky for Studio B, the view depicted in this piece is one we can take in daily. At some point long ago, the earth opened up in this location and water spilled out of the lava rock from adjacent water tables and into the canyon. Today, the beginning of this river starts in the Teton Mountains near Jackson Hole Wyoming. From there it makes its way across the southern part of Idaho into Oregon where it dumps into the Columbia River gorge and eventually out to the Pacific Ocean. While in Idaho, the water flows over the amazing Shoshone Falls. On quiet early summer nights, you can hear the roar of the falls for miles. If you want a little piece of southern Idaho or the Snake River, this is the image for you.
